At first glance I thought that mirror was the Mad Hatters' pocket watch.Flannery is looking so solemn, as though she is being made too soonly civilized and reined in.
yes, the subject of *hair* seems to do that to these girls!
she told me afterwards, "i was trying to be extra good while you did my hair." she didn't cry, but i don't think she enjoyed the experience, either...
