As I recall, from my ancient youth, the discovery of one's own shadow, one's doppleganger so to speak, is a momentous ocurrence, the discovery of something that will accompany you for a lifetime. For me, in my childhood I thought of it as my guardian angel. It is also the basis of cinema, or Platos' shadows on the cave walls that ask: what is the nature of reality?
Huh? It's just a picture of a little fella by wall......or is it?
